Todd Binzen grew up a few miles west of New York City in Montclair, New Jersey. As a young adult, he moved to Vermont, drawn there by the warmth of her communities and by the beauty and fullness of her seasons. He holds a BA in fine arts from Carleton College, Northfield, Minnesota.
Todd paints abstractly in pursuit of beauty and spontaneity and explores themes of vitality, transition and impermanence. He works in oils and relies heavily on the controlled accident. He has displayed his work throughout New England and taught art and tai chi to students of all ages.
Todd, his wife and children live in Strafford, VT.
