Gabrielle trained at Camberwell School of Art leaving with a First Class Honours degree in Fine Art Sculpture. She continued her studies at the Rural Development Centre in Salisbury completing several courses in welding and forgework. She now has her own forge and workshop in Forest Hill.

Gabrielle has exhibited her sculptures and drawings at the South London Art Gallery (where she won the SOGAT award), the Barbican Arts Centre, The Royal Academy (with the London Group), the Trinity Gallery Tunbrige Wells and has had several one man shows in and around London. Her work has also been exhibited and auctioned at Sotheby’s.

For several years Gabrielle has been working exclusively from the landscape, drawing onto paper with charcoal and drawing ‘in space’ with forged and welded rods of metal. The trees that provide the inspiration for most of her work are in One Tree Hill, South London and the woods of Cushendun, Northern Ireland.
