I am an artist printmaker working in the traditional medium of the etcher and of the stone lithographer, using techniques that have changed little. My main subject is that of the urban landscape of the modern city and especially its architecture.  I am fascinated by how the buildings show the effects of pollution and how they have been adapted over the years.  In my work I not only portray the well known buildings of the city but the overlooked building next to it.  The view of a famous building from the back street or across a skyline of roofs and I am interested in the beauty of the ordinary.  Though I work in a traditional medium, I see myself as having the eye of an artist working in the now.
